One focused workflow

From bounded input to evidence you can review

  1. Add both sites.Enter the old and the new public address and list up to 25 paths, one per line.
  2. Confirm the job. Both addresses, the path list and your settings are shown once more before anything is fetched.
  3. Process in isolation.A one-job networkless sandbox receives only this job and cannot access accounts, queues, encryption keys or other customer storage.
  4. Review exact findings.Compare user-confirmed old and new public routes for redirects, missing pages, metadata changes, image failures and desktop/mobile rendering differences.
  5. Download the evidence.HTML report, redirect and page-evidence CSV files, lost-page list, screenshots and a manifest that lists a hash for every output file.

What this product does not claim

Clear answers

Website Migration QA FAQ

What do I have to supply?

The old site, the new site and the list of paths you want compared. Up to 25 confirmed routes are captured, each in a desktop and a mobile view.

Why does it not crawl the site itself?

Only routes you confirm are visited, so the tool never wanders into pages you did not intend to hit. This version also does not read or evaluate robots.txt.

What counts as a lost page?

A confirmed old path whose new destination answers with an error or never resolves, for example a route that returns 404 after the move. Those findings sit at the top of the report.

Which metadata is compared?

Title, description and canonical for each route. A canonical that now points at a different host, or a title that changed during the move, is reported as a regression.

What happens when a capture fails?

The failure stays visible in the report instead of being dropped, so a route nobody could reach is never mistaken for a route that passed.
