Turn a contract into a list of duties and deadlines

What you upload

You upload the contract as PDF or DOCX, up to 4,000 words and 64,000 extracted characters. The file needs a text layer. A scan without one yields nothing, and the job tells you so rather than handing back an empty register. This is an AI tool. It needs an account and costs 2 credits per job, and the cost is shown before you start. There are no settings.

What the register contains

You get a workbook of obligations, a deadline CSV and an HTML evidence page. Each row names the party, the action and the date, next to the exact clause and page it came from. A duty you would have to infer from context is left out. Items the wording does not settle go to a separate review list. Check each row against its quoted clause before you rely on it.

Relative dates and what stays with you

Wording such as within 5 business days of receipt keeps its condition and is not turned into a calendar date. Conditional, disputed and superseded dates stay marked as unconfirmed. The tool does not add anything to a calendar or send reminders. You import the CSV yourself. The register is an extraction aid, not legal advice, and a lawyer or contract manager should confirm it.

Questions before you run it

What counts as an obligation in this register?

Only a duty stated in the contract wording itself, recorded with the party, the action and the exact clause quotation beside it. A duty you would have to infer from context is left out and the field stays blank.

How are conditional or relative deadlines handled?

Wording such as within 5 business days of receipt is kept with its condition intact instead of being turned into a calendar date. Anything the text does not fix to a date goes into the ambiguity queue for a person to resolve.

Can it read a scanned contract PDF?

Extraction works on the text layer of a PDF or DOCX, within the 4,000 word and 64,000 character ceilings. A scan with no text layer yields nothing, and the job says so rather than returning an empty register.

Does the tool put the deadlines in a calendar?

No. It exports a deadline CSV for you to check and import yourself. There is no scheduling, no reminder and no write access to any calendar.

Is the register a legal review of the contract?

No. It is an extraction aid, and every row quotes the clause and page it came from so a lawyer or contract manager can verify it. Disputed, superseded and conditional dates remain marked as unconfirmed.
