Set a contract's clauses beside your own playbook

What you upload

You upload the contract as PDF or DOCX and your approved playbook as PDF, DOCX or CSV. The playbook is required. The contract is compared only with the positions you supply, and no standard positions come with the tool. Each job takes up to 4,000 words and 64,000 extracted characters. This is an AI tool. It needs an account and costs 3 credits per job, shown before you start.

What the table shows

Each row pairs a contract quotation with the playbook position it matched, so you read both texts side by side. In the example, a liability cap of EUR 25,000 in the contract sits next to a playbook target of EUR 50,000. A clause with no playbook counterpart is listed as unmatched, not judged. You get a workbook, a CSV of the paired quotes and a decision table.

Decisions stay with the reviewer

The decision column is left empty for you to fill in. The tool does not approve or reject clauses, suggest new wording or produce a redline. It makes no claim about what is market standard, because the only reference point is your playbook. A gap in the playbook shows up as a gap. The table supports legal review and does not replace it.

Questions before you run it

What does the playbook file have to contain?

An approved playbook upload is required, as PDF, DOCX or CSV, holding your own clause positions. The contract is mapped only against the positions you supply; no standard or bundled positions ship with the tool.

What does a clause match actually show me?

Each row pairs the contract quotation with the playbook position it was matched to, so both texts sit side by side. The decision column is left empty for a reviewer to fill in.

Does it rewrite clauses or produce a redline?

No. There is no suggested replacement wording, no track-changes output and no automatic approval. What you get is a reviewer decision table.

What happens to a clause with no playbook counterpart?

It is listed as unmatched rather than judged. A gap in your playbook is reported as a gap, not treated as agreement with the contract.

Can it tell me whether a clause is market standard?

No. There is no benchmark data behind it and no market-standard claim is made. The only reference point is the playbook you uploaded.
