Favicon, touch and app icons from one logo
What you upload
You upload one PNG or JPG logo per job and see it at browser tab size before you start. A square image works best. A non-square image keeps its aspect ratio and is padded with transparency, so nothing is stretched. A wide wordmark will still be hard to read at 16 pixels. This is a standard tool with 3 free jobs a day with a free account.
What is in the ZIP
You get six PNG sizes plus favicon.ico, the 180x180 Apple touch icon, a site.webmanifest file, head-links.html and icon-validation.json. The validation report notes small-size legibility and safe-zone problems. To add the icons, put the files at the paths shown in head-links.html and paste that block into your page head. The webmanifest uses the same paths. Then open your site and check the tab icon.
Themes, maskable art and previews
Themes can be single or light plus dark. With light plus dark, the pack is made for both, with labelled previews. Include maskable PWA icon places your mark inside the safe zone that Android crops to a circle or squircle. The previews only approximate how each platform draws the icon. They do not emulate a real device. Whether the icon looks right for your brand is your call.
Questions before you run it
Which icon files do I get?
Six PNG sizes plus favicon.ico, the 180x180 Apple touch icon, a site.webmanifest, a head-links.html snippet to paste, and a validation report.
Does my logo have to be square?
No. A non-square source keeps its aspect ratio and is padded with transparency, so nothing is stretched. A wide wordmark will still be unreadable at 16 pixels, and the validation report says so.
What is the maskable icon option for?
Android adaptive icons crop to a circle or squircle. With maskable art generated, your mark sits inside the safe zone instead of losing its edges to that crop.
Can I supply different icons for light and dark interfaces?
Set Themes to light plus dark and the pack is produced for both, with labelled previews. Those previews approximate how each platform draws the icon; they are not OS emulation.
How do I add the icons to my site?
Drop the files at the paths shown in head-links.html and paste that block into your page head. The webmanifest entries follow the same paths.
