Is the preview free, and do I need an account?
Yes, the preview is free and uses no credits. You need a free, confirmed WoluTools account, because the cards are written on the WoluTools AI computer. Sign in or create one. The full card set costs 1 AI credit.
How many cards will I get from one PDF?
Up to fifty cards from at most twenty pages. A page with little usable material produces fewer cards rather than filler questions.
Can I import the result into Anki?
The package contains a CSV made for manual import into Anki. Map the fields in your study application and look at how line breaks appear on a couple of cards before bringing in the whole set.
Does the package include a ready-made Anki deck?
No. There is no APKG file and no spaced-repetition scheduling, only the CSV and a readable study-question file. A run that produces no cards fails instead of becoming a paid empty download.
Why does every answer carry a source quote?
The quote shows where in the PDF the answer came from, so you can check a card before you study it. It helps with traceability but is not proof that a question covers the whole topic.
Does it work on a scanned book?
The input needs selectable text. Try highlighting a sentence in your PDF viewer first. A scan without a text layer gives the tool nothing to read.
What do credits cost, and do the 3 free jobs a day apply?

Build study questions with the source still attached
Choose a text-based PDF containing explanations or factual learning material. Lecture notes and short reading extracts are better inputs than a scanned book cover or a table of contents. The tool reads up to twenty pages and writes at most fifty cards. It may write fewer when a page has little useful material; it does not fill the quota with unrelated questions.
Use the quote on each card to check the answer before studying it. Pay special attention to exceptions, definitions that depend on surrounding text and claims that are true only under stated conditions.
