How do I know my PDF will work?
Open it in a PDF viewer and try to select a value inside a table. If the text highlights, the page has a text layer. A photographed or scanned page usually does not, and nothing can be extracted from it.
What is in the download?
One Excel file per extracted page. Tables whose headers match exactly can also be combined into a single file with a source-page column, so every row stays traceable. Different headers stay in separate groups.
Why are my numbers stored as text?
Values are written as text to keep identifiers intact and to stop spreadsheet formulas from running. Convert the numeric columns in Excel once you have checked decimal separators and leading zeros.
Will it find every table on the page?
Structural checks catch misaligned columns and unsupported values, but they cannot prove that every visible row was found. Compare the first and last rows, merged headings and empty cells against the PDF. Very complex layouts sometimes need manual correction.
What if the extraction fails?
Try a smaller page selection. Failed processing does not use credits, and no completed export is sold for a failed job.
Choose text-based tables, not photographed pages
This extractor is intended for PDF pages with selectable text. A photographed spreadsheet or scanned statement may look clear to a person but contain no text for this tool to extract. Receipt scans belong in the receipt workflow instead. Remove cover pages and unrelated narrative before submitting a document.
Different headers stay in separate groups rather than being forced into a single misleading table. Convert numeric columns in Excel only after reviewing decimal separators and leading zeros.
